How much does it cost?

We offer two workshops – each workshop is a full day and costs £900

 

Do we charge travel expenses?

We are happy to travel to locations across the United Kingdom and on occasion will ask for a contribution towards travel depending on the location. Please drop us a message to discuss your location.

 

What days do we offer?

We usually offer workshops midweek (Monday to Friday) but can be flexible with enough notice.

 

What ages are the workshops suitable for? 

Our African Music Workshop is aimed at Primary School to Secondary School pupils.

Our Song Writing Workshop is suitable for Year 5 students+ (including college and university pupils).

 

How long is the workshop?

Song Writing Workshop: We split the day into two halves. Group One in the morning, Group Two in the afternoon. We can also create something bespoke to suit the size and interests of your school.

African Music Workshop: This works best in one hour sessions throughout the day. We can also create something bespoke to suit the size and interests of your school.

  

Deposit / cancellation / rebooking

We require a 25% deposit payable at the time of booking. The remainder of the fee, 75%, is payable on the day of your workshop.

You are free to cancel or reschedule your booking up to 7 days before your workshop date and claim back your full deposit. Any cancellations or reschedules made within 7 days of your booking will be liable for the loss of the 25% deposit. 

 

We are DBS checked 

All members of our team are DBS checked – please message us if you wish to see copies.

 

How much space does each workshop require? 

African Music Workshop: This works best in a hall as there is movement involved. 
The Song Writing Workshop:  This requires two separate spaces; one can be a small classroom or office where we base the studio – what is this for? (there will only be small groups of students in here at a time) and then a normal classroom for the workshop is ideal.

 

What equipment is involved?

We bring a mobile recording studio, speakers and PA. Occasionally, if we are doing assemblies or similar, we may use existing PA systems if you have them.

 

Taking a break 

Our practitioners require a lunch break of 45 minutes at some point during the day.

 

Will the songs be available on Spotify?

If you would like your song on Spotify then the school will be responsible for permissions prior to the workshop. However, no child is named. Not all schools opt for their song to be on Spotify, some prefer us to send it via email.
